How accurate is it for quoting?
A careful trace on high-resolution imagery is typically within a few percent — plenty for sod, seed, mulch, and fertilizer quantities. Mature tree canopy can hide bed edges; where the imagery is ambiguous, confirm on site.
How do I turn area into material quantities?
Sod: sq ft ÷ 9 gives square yards, or divide by your roll coverage. Mulch: sq ft × depth in inches ÷ 324 gives cubic yards. Seed and fertilizer: measured sq ft × the bag rate. The built-in assistant handles the unit conversions.
